So it's obviously not morning, but I'll write about the Famine anyway.
We had a fairly large breakfast Wednesday morning (the whole school smelled of bacon. From a distance, I almost considered having some. The I got close, and yuck!), though all I had was a serving of eggs, french toast, orange slices and yogurt.
The rest of Wednesday was fairly regular, until after school. We voted to send Be Water, so the $3000+ we raised went to dig wells in the Congo, I believe.
The there was the spray-painting of tee-shirts (I'll have to take a picture to show you!), followed by free time/homework time.
We then played Mission Impossible, tug-of-war (my team solidly won that!), more MI, and then some team building exercises. That was the best part!
We had to climb through a 'web,' with each person going through a different hole, and nobody touching the web…then get eggs (energon cubes) out of a lava pit, and get our space ship across the planets to create a society. It was such a blast!
We then played Home-Free Tag in the school for a few rounds (five…?) then watched a 'funny' movie…I almost fell asleep during that.
The next day, I got more and more hungry until we could eat at 1500h. Cake, junk food, chowder…ice cream….
Life is good.
