At long last, I have given into the wonderful peer pressure that are my friends, and I have began…Supernatural. I'm six episodes into a twenty-two per season, eight season show that is still running. Season nine has been confirmed.
I am getting in well beyond anything I've done in the past for TV.
It is quite good, though. I'm really enjoying it, and looking forward to watching more. I already know a bit about some of the characters and character arcs, so it's difficult to contain my excitement when I know the general gist of some things.
However, I'm really looking forward to exploring this more. I'll probably use it as my new reward-system for successful studying. (Yay, self bribing!)
Where Is The Screaming?
Everyone says to follow what speaks to you, but nothing is talking to me. Nothing is jumping up and down, screaming my name.

Communication Creation
I don't know if anyone is aware, but I had a very cruddy, old, falling-apart phone. I say had, because in September, this phone was lost during a game of Mission Imposible at me school, in the dark. It was never seen again. Good riddance.
I had tried with a certain unnamed phone/whatnot providing company to get a phone—in early October. I paid for it, I ordered it, I waited.
Long story very short: the order was cancelled by the company, Mahara was frustrated, and swore not to use them again.
Today, however, I have now ordered the exact same phone, directly from Apple, and have a shipment date ready. I have ordered a SIM card from a phone provider, and will not be signing a contract—I will be doing the pay-as-you-go system (because contracts scare me), and will have a phone in approximately two weeks.
Three cheers for communication!

Plugged In?
I'm so tired of shoddy internet connections! Mine on campus has been glitching out through the last few days, it's incredibly, incredibly frustrating. I'm hoping that today's ease-of-use continues again, though. It's been nice to not have to restart my dear Daniel anymore—I had to do it twice last night!

Choir Countdown
I was worried for a bit that this wouldn't got through—the first time I tried to load it, I got this 'whoops, that's an error' page, so I was a little upset. Thankfully, the page loaded so I'm able to fill your screen with pointlessness and rather sleep-deprived ramblings once again.
Reading Week is nearly over—Monday is back to the grindstone for me, and into my second half of semester. Looking forward to it, actually, because it's not long until my choir day-trip, and all the singing that comes with that. Yay, choir!

RotG
I finally watched Rise of the Guardians today, because that's all over tumblr, and…wow. I adore Jack Frost, he's the sweetest thing ever. I want more, and more of his past life, please?

Time Off
I'm nearly halfway through my reading week, and wow, I'm loving this. I wish I could live like this all the time, but unfortunately I must be 'responsible' for most of my days….
Oh well.
Oh well.

Shift Work
As much as I logically knew that there was next to no one living on campus for the break, it took until my shift today at work to really sink in. We usually scan in at or three hundred for suppers, but today our grand total scanning was…sixty-nine.
That was the most tedious, long, boring, uneventful shift I've ever worked ever.
I have two more this week.
