Mmmh, I came back from shopping about an hour ago. Lovely Midnight Madness, I spent almost two hundred dollars.
What did I spend it on? (If my roomie wasn't sleeping, I'd take photos….)
I bought a --- -- ------ ---------- for said sleepy roomie, which I know she'll love.
I bought a --- --- for our floor exchange, and I'll stuff it with something small for goodies's sake.
I bought a ----, ----- ----- and ---- ------ ---- for my best friend. I walked into the store, and almost the first thing I saw was the ----, and I knew it was perfect.
I also bought myself three dresses from this store called Bali—so cute! I'll be wearing one tomorrow, bright, very bright, red, and so comfy. Perfect for rushing about, prepping for a crazy concert! The other is this lovely golden colour, and the last is a really interesting cowl-ish sweater dress, with a pattern (for me, that's huge—I rarely if ever wear patterns. Yet two of my four sweater dresses seem to have heavy patterning…. Hmm) in brown, black and other neutrally-monochromatic-but-still-a-nice-brown scheme. The brown actually is nice, a warm golden if you get close.
I still need to find Solstice gifts for one…two…three…four…five(?!) people, plus my siblings and S.
The last three will be most challenging, I think.
Or maybe the friends….
I can send cards to the 6AC, and something memento-like.
Ugh.
Why did I have to be generous (read: susceptible and complacent to the capitalist system we are all operating under) this year?!
Everyone says to follow what speaks to you, but nothing is talking to me. Nothing is jumping up and down, screaming my name.

Finality
The final post, before I leave for a month. I'll be back…but right now, one of my favourite songs. It always reminds me of the Encounters With Canada crowd, and I think of them every time I hear/sing it. I'd like to believe I'm taking a bit of them with me. Plus, from a band I listened to in my childhood….
Also, for documentation's sake, here's a 'Before' photo, so we can compare the (potential) difference in a month:
Between me and the vast internet, I'm not one hundred percent sure I'm ready to leave. I guess it's too late to turn back now….
Wish me luck. I hope my camera, journal and mind is filled with France to share with you when we next speak. (Is this my version of 'Have a good life?!')

Attempt
I really did work to get a post out last night, but my internet was being flunky. Jolly. I did write on the SixAwesomeCanadians blog, though, so I'll link you there and pretend I was here, too!

Hopeless
So, apparently I don't know what flirting is…so a very dear, dear friend on mine is teaching*coughbashingintomyheadcough* some general rules. I had no flipping idea. I really didn't. Sometimes I think I am hopeless…!

Tee Hee
I love practical joking. That's random, I know, but for a person or two it wouldn't be. Hee-hee.

Cent-est
So I realize this is my hundredth post…and I thought I ought to do something to celebrate it. So, today's post will be a recipe…and a contest. The SixAwesomeCanadians member who can come up with the best name for said recipe will get the power to have me write a post about whatever they choose.
Ready?
Here goes!

Hallelujah
One of the songs that was really important to me when I went to EWC (Encounters With Canada) last year was Hallelujaah. Despite any and all religious references, it's a beautiful song, and I love it. It's also one of the ones we sang in the lunch/dinner lineups, with someone on the piano, and a group of us around him singing.
Then, a few days ago, a dear friend of mine (who happens to be an EWC pal and 6AC member) sent me this link.
I LOVE this version of the song, how it builds, and becomes this amazing amazingness throughout!
Definitely playing this video over and over and over and over….

Anniversary BLANK
So I'm tallying up the ballots, for lack of a better word, from the 6AC's anniversary !@#$%^&*(). It's going to be pretty kick-butt…you'll see. I think I'll even post the )(*&^ here for the interwebs to peruse.
But as for now…tallying, and waiting for the 'three hours' to be up so I can take down the related posts, is a pain in the ass.
Sigh.

Smiles
Ah, today was a good day. I had a date (yay, me!), talked up a storm during it, and spent the evening in my short-shorts and a tank top—that I would never wear in public—webcaming to my friends on the east coast.
Lovely.
Lovely.

Sun-shiney-day
What a day!
I've made my anniversary gift for my SixAwesomeCanadian friends, with lots of help from a few of them. The first post went up today, and I'm so excited! As of midnight tonight, it's officially our anniversary.
To any 6AC that is reading this…I love you, and I miss you. We should talk more!
Also, my fellow 6AC member and I 'lightened' our hair today with honey and conditioner. So far no drastic results, but we'll see. My hair still has to dry completely. I'm really looking forward to this!
Anything else…? Oh yeah, I did some English homework today. I have math, too, but I'll do that in my spare block tomorrow, before class.
What do you do when you have stuff to do, but have prioritized it away?

Cele-bed-tion
So tired…I've been so busy plotting anniversary stuff, and now…now it is time for bed.

Anniversary
I'm getting very, very excited…the anniversary of my EWC (Encounters With Canada) group is coming up…and there's so many things planned…! We're launching a blog on the first day, and a special #@%$^&*#)%( (I won't tell what it is!) will be put up on the last day, too. Plus each of us are doing special vlogs on our channel throughout the week, on the day we were originally prescribed.
WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Yeah, it's a big deal.

Better Late Than Never!
Today, I found a photo that I'd though was lost for good—and I'm so, so thrilled that I have it back. It turns out it was in a place I swear I've looked before…but lets chalk that up to quantum physics and be done with it. (I saw a few bits of a show, What the Bleep Do We Know? last summer and was fascinated. Which reminds me, I want to see the whole thing….)
Other than that, nothing really happened. I worked on a project, didn't have school, went to bed without blogging, got up, blogged, and then ______.
Hopefully that blank is filled by the word 'slept.'
What was your day like—did you find something you'd 'lost?' Where was it?
2.1.12
Could, Would, Should
So, what have I accomplished today? One assignment done, another half-assed started, and another half-assed worked on. I ate a lot, though—someone in the house doesn't think I eat 'properly,' so she's been providing me with drinks and meals at oddly regular intervals. Huh. It's like being a kiddie again!
Other than that, really nothing's been going on. I have school tomorrow, first for the new year. Scary.
And a few more Resolutions to keep:
Blogging everyday
Making the bed everyday (21 days to make a habit!)
6AC vlog every week, same reservations as for blogging.
Well? Can I do it? Could you? Would you? Will you?
