Midnight pizza run.
Literally how I spent the witching hour tonight, getting a nice, large veggie pizza, hold the chees, extra spinach and pineapple, with hot sauce.
Mmmmm.
I love living in res, with multiple pizza places catering to the needs of uni students.
Everyone says to follow what speaks to you, but nothing is talking to me. Nothing is jumping up and down, screaming my name.

Confirmation
First choir concert complete…one more to go! A friend video taped us, and we actually sound decent. Not that I didn't think we would, but it's nice to have the confirmation, yeah?
I'm really looking forward to the next one, for a few reasons—one, I actually have people coming on Sunday (today…?!); two, I know now how to hold myself to look like I'm not being stopped with a hot poker; and three, I never have to sing these songs again.
I suppose there is a fourth reason, but that's even pettier than the third…I'm so sick of the drama of nearly thirty women of various ages, skill- and self-absorbtion levels 'getting along.'
(People look at me so oddly when I say I don't like working with a female majority, but I really would rather an even split. Women, myself certainly included, get so awfully exhausting to be around!)

Tumblr Troubles
I've become a rather hooked Tumblr'er (does anyone know the 'correct' term for that…?) since the new computer (Daniel) works so much better with it than Alex ever did. The downside to being drowsy all day and sleeping in every morning, though, is the staying up late…with nothing to read.
Wow, can anyone say first world problems here…?!
That's embarrassing.

Condensed
So I completely blanked on a blog last night. I response, I'll do a two-in-one:one for yesterday, one for today.
Yesterday, I went to work, got some information about a bursary sorted out, and started watching a movie…and was late for work. There were so few kids, though…aside from a minor (haha) legality, I could have handled it all myself. I stayed until 1730, same as I was booked, though. Heeheee.
Today…my alarm went off, I got up, turned it off…and promptly fell back asleep. Genius, yes? I had a fairly lazy day, talked to a bunch of friends from out of town, sent some recipes to a friend that I mentioned them to earlier, and did next to nothing. I did make some orange juice…and I though it looked really cool. I don't know if the pictures did it justice, but here they are.
(These are as I'm emptying the concentrate into the jug.)
I kept rotating the jug, to get all the angles. Then, something really cool happened.
This was when my thumb got in the way of the flash—I thought it gave if such an interesting effect, I wanted to duplicate it.
Not so much.
At least I tried! What's you greatest accident-turned-genius moment?

Friturday
I know it's technically Saturday, but I'll write as if it's two hours ago: bowling, movie and pizza tonight….
Now I am so very tired…to bed, to bed, sleepy head.

Could, Would, Should
So, what have I accomplished today? One assignment done, another half-assed started, and another half-assed worked on. I ate a lot, though—someone in the house doesn't think I eat 'properly,' so she's been providing me with drinks and meals at oddly regular intervals. Huh. It's like being a kiddie again!
Other than that, really nothing's been going on. I have school tomorrow, first for the new year. Scary.
And a few more Resolutions to keep:
Blogging everyday
Making the bed everyday (21 days to make a habit!)
6AC vlog every week, same reservations as for blogging.
Well? Can I do it? Could you? Would you? Will you?

What To Do?
So I know I was tired last night, and this morning proved it. How? I slept in an hour past my usual time to get up. It's now quarter to 0800h, and I'm lazing in my housecoat, playing with Reiki. He has discovered the feet, under blankets, are fun to pounce on. I have discovered his teeth can reach through some of my blankets. Ouch.
Now I waiting for the time to pass—it's too late to go to Curves, too early to go to school…. Feels weird. Maybe I'll actually make breakfast today—I haven't had that in a while. Poached eggs and toast sounds good…and I even think we have cheese in the house. Add some hummus, and it's a meal.
Of course I've made myself hungry writing that…so I think I'll do it. Breakfast, here I come!

Crash Course
So I haven't made a post in a few days, and there's a few reasons why.
Thursday: I was up until Friday watching movies from a decade a go that are no longer relevant or mildy 'with it.' I spent most of the time critiquing the 'that would never work' factor. (Then sppent Friday morning watching the sequel. >.< )
Friday: Spend the day working on a loooooong email to a former teacher, asking for advice. Then spent the evening with a staff workshop…and meeting this guy:
His name is Reiki…but more on him later. For now, it's enough to say that I was up until…Saturday, I think, working with him.
Saturday: Day with Reiki, volunteer at school, into town 'the city' (ha!) to take advantage of an awesome sale on loooong inseam pants. Hey-oh-yeah. Then I spent the late-late night talking with a friend…and kind of getting psychoanalysed. Always fun. I went to bed early this morning.
Add that to kitten-peeing and the like…I am not pleased. Those were my last remnants of any sort of portable music device—my dear green iPod went through the wash this summer. RIP.
Well then.
I've attempted to create a chew/claw/chase toy out of some bright neon pink rope I had floating about…he's not interested. Maybe I should sleep with it tonight, so it'll smell like me instead of tealight smoke. He seems to like biting Mahara-scented items. Mainly, my skin. Joy.
Well? Any other baby problems? Any tips? Major don'ts? I need to know—most of the babies I deal with, I can change their diaper and put them to sleep. Then again, I can't pick them up by the scruff of their necks….
